My first time visiting Sushi Q for lunch, and the food was very good, and authentic. I had the Lunch Box (bento box) with chicken teriyaki and shrimp tempura for my two choices. The chicken teriyaki was delicious, charged perfectly and the sauce was rich and the right thickness for the best flavor. The shrimp tempura was nice and crunchy and a good size. The salad was generous and very fresh, and a nice scoop of rice. The roll in the picture was shared from my friend's box and not a part of my order, but to try, and that was good too. It took quite awhile before we got our meals but that could be because we were one of the first to arrive when they opened at 11:30 and there were several tables waiting for their orders already. It was worth the wait. The lunch was about $18 before tax and tip, but compared to other places I've tried, this is the best so far. The service was great as well!

Great service and awesome food! 10/10 the chefs are cool too! Look forward to going back! They aren't all you can eat but if there were I wouldn't leave!

This is my favorite sushi spot in Sacramento. Everything I've tried is amazing and presented very well. I really love how many different kinds of fish I've gotten to try here as well. I've fallen in love with so many pieces of nigiri and sashimi it's hard to choose a favorite, and I look forward to their specials. I do wish they would hire some servers who were not just attentive but personable/approachable. They all seem more like "order takers" and rush through the ordering process. So if you're looking for the entire experience of dining out maybe elect for another more hands on place, but this isn't my favorite sushi spot for no reason. I def would encourage anyone to try it for themselves. I keep coming back for sure :)

Great roll for pregnant women. Asked Nate for suggestions and gave a few. Glad I went with this one.

Visited our friends and we found this spot on Yelp. We ordered a bunch of rolls online for pick up. They have a very nice selection of everything on here you can't go wrong. We came by after 30 mins or so to pick up the order but we still had to wait which was fine. It was busy on a Saturday night so I understand. The staff here was nice and the ambiance inside looks dope. Once we took our sushi home everything tasted phenomenal. Nice huge portions which was awesome

What can I say other than this is our FAVORITE sushi restaurant in SLP/Pocket area. We've been coming here for a little over a year and have become well acquainted with the amazing staff here. We've always been greeted coming in and thanked leaving. The owner, Q, is so dedicated to his work and the quality of his restaurant atmosphere and food. If we could, we'd come here everyday just for the pleasure of being around these great people and eating amazing food. The sushi is always fresh, and tastes of high quality. The sushi chefs are welcoming and a friend to all. The servers? Exceptional. Everyone here is amazing- they make a great Sushi Squad! They can get very busy and sometimes the wait is long but once you get your food, you'll remember why you chose this place. 10/10 will always recommend this place to all friends and family!

Nice quaint sushi place in sac. Cousins and I came here on a Saturday night and was seated right away (party of 4). Service was great and very attentive. We ordered sake, small sashimi platter, aviana roll, black ops, sushi q and elk grove roll. That was a lot of food for us! Very big portions, however this place is more on the pricer side.

We stopped in for a quick bite on a weekday and had some reliably tasty sushi. It isn't anything to write home about, but it's an accessible menu with the usual rolls and your standard fare. We also order a couple glasses of wine. On the day we were in, they were busy and understaffed so it took a little while to get our food, wine, and check, but the waiter was very apologetic. I went with a regular customer and she assured me that that isn't the norm. TLDR: Easy, accessible sushi spot! Great for rolls!
